Ruling Council
Act 9
This Act of Council hereby enacts a number of amendments to improve the previous eight Acts of the Ruling Council passed since its foundation, as part of the Office of the Emperor's programme to reform all Adammic legislation.
Paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Internal Procedures Act 2013 are hereby repealed. If the Councilor of a Province dies or resigns, the Province shall be managed by its remaining Local Government including its Duke or Duchess and Local Elections for a new Councilor will be held as soon as possible. If, for whatever reason, a Councilor cannot be elected, the Ruling Council will intervene and appoint an Acting Councilor. If no population can be found to appoint, the province should be merged with another province or it should be returned to its original macronation.
The opening speech by the Chair to Ruling Council meetings is now declared to be as follows: “Ave Regendum Concilium. As [Chair / Vice-Chair title] of the Empire of Adammia, I, [Full title], do hereby call this, the nth meeting of the Ruling Council into effect, on today the [Date].” The closing message is now “I declare this meeting adjourned. Vale Regendum Concilium.”
The register of attending Council members is now taken silently by the Lord Chancellor. The Lord Chancellor also records all votes that are taken, and records each point on the Agenda.
The official website of the Empire as administered by the Ministry of Information now legally uses the domain empireofadammia.org.uk.
The Monarch is now no longer the owner of the state media. Though the current Emperor may hold the positions of Editor of the Adammic Express and Director of AOT, should these positions become vacant the Minister of Culture shall appoint a successor. The Twitter account shall be now be run by the Office of the Emperor in co-operation with the government ministries.
The Adammic Weather Office is now hereby transferred from the Ministry of Information to the Ministry of the Environment.
The Adammic Imperial Province is hereby renamed to Primoria.
Christmas Day is hereby declared a national holiday. Citizens will be exempt from work on this day unless it is absolutely necessary. It will be celebrated every 25th of December.
