In re New Rubix Republic

Petitioners: John Gordon, Kaito I, James R Frisch

Notice of advisory opinion proceeding; dismissal

Case reference: 2024-2
Assigned to Kb. Jon I (SJ)

John Gordon, acting on behalf of the Austenasian Delegate, Agatonian Delegate, and SBR Delegate, has submitted the following reference to the Supreme Court:

"Did the New Rubix Republic knowingly use fascist symbols in their iconography and national symbols, and was it a genuine mistake?"

The reference seeks clarification on whether the New Rubix Republic's use of such symbols was intentional, as well as to address the ongoing disputes in discussion rooms related to these questions. The referrer suggests that the New Rubix Republic should be questioned in depth about their knowledge of these symbols.

After considerations, I hereby dismiss this petition as it does not constitute a legal inquiry. The questions posed pertain to matters of opinion and symbolic interpretation rather than legal principles under GUM jurisdiction. The resolution of this issue should be pursued through diplomatic or organizational dialogue, not judicial processes.

Case dismissed.
