13th April 2016, Province of Primoria

To the peoples of this great Empire: greetings. As of this evening, the Adammic flag has flown over the province of Primoria for three years. I would like to express my deepest regrets that we were not able to celebrate Foundation Day in our usual style this year. The passing of my esteemed grandmother, Her Grace Madam Winifred Hall, just two days prior to Foundation Day has rendered this impossible. This is obviously a very difficult time for the Imperial Family and the House of Hall, and the Empire is currently in the middle of three days of national mourning, during which all non-essential government functions are suspended.

This news, combined with the fact that I will be leaving home for university in September, has led me to believe that we are approaching the end of the first great era of the Empire of Adammia. We saw many great achievements with our seat of government in Tytannia – our Foundation Day parties, the successful Andromeda 3 rocket launch in 2014, and Jonny Blair's tourist visit in 2015. However, the House of Hall, with its weekly gatherings in White Gold Palace, is the foundation for this entire system. I suspect that, when I am unable to return home and perform my duties in the capital regularly, we may be forced to turn the focus of the Empire elsewhere.

Although the future is currently very uncertain, I am certain of one thing: that this nation we have built together, from Myway Docks to Avranches Valley and beyond, will remain united and will continue to achieve great things. Adammia has come a long way these past three years, but our story is only just beginning. On that note, we would like to wish a happy Foundation Day to you all. Seek wisdom and honour, and long live the Empire.
