Decree XXVI Adam I
Office of the Emperor
Decree XXVI
Astley MeadowWe, the occupant of this Office, do hereby issue the following Decree noting the absence of activity in Astley Meadow and the pointlessness of its presence in the Empire.
We hereby declare that Our Imperial Majesty's Decree XIX (Claims Near Primoria) is repealed in its entirety and shall be considered null and void. Henceforth, the Claimed Territory of Astley Meadow is considered dissolved, and the land that it occupied is ceded back to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. However, noting the cultural importance of the territory and its historical importance as the site of the Skirmish of Astley Meadow, the land itself shall continue to bear the name of Astley Meadow in the eyes of the Empire and its government, despite being no longer under our sovereignty.
Furthermore, noting that the amendment passed by the Ruling Council during the 29th and final meeting of I Legislature on the 12th of July 2014 failed to include this intended point, we declare that citizens of the Empire no longer need to update the Ministry of Finance with their macronational employment status. Furthermore, we declare the National Economic Survey suspended.
This, the twenty-sixth Imperial Decree of Our Imperial Majesty Emperor Adam the First, is decreed at Primoria on the fourteenth day of July, two-thousand and fourteenth year of the Common Era and the second year of Our reign, and is signed into immediate effect.
Imperator Adammiae I
