Decree XXIX
ColoniesWe, the occupant of this Office, do hereby issue the following Decree in response to the changes in the status of Our single colony and our other territories.
Noting that Our esteemed colonial governor, High Lord Overseer Sir Damian Parker, recently changed residence from that in Congleton, United Kingdom to one in Sandbach, United Kingdom, and thus left the original territory designated as the Colony of Creatuxia by the Treaty of Annexation signed on the 8th of August 2013, We declare that the territory comprising the Colony of Creatuxia shall henceforth be considered relocated to the new residence of the High Lord Overseer, this still being in accordance with the terms of the 8th August 2013 Treaty of Annexation, and that the original territory comprising the Colony of Creatuxia shall be ceded back to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Adammic sovereignty shall henceforth be considered acting over the new territory occupied by the Colony, and the statistics maintained by Our Majesty's National Government shall be updated accordingly. The site of the original territory shall henceforth be known to the Empire and its government as Creatuxia Vetera.
Furthermore, noting the increasing role of Our Territorial Claim of Borealia within the Empire, and Our increased confidence in its stability and maturity, We declare that the Territorial Claim of Borealia shall become the Colony of Borealia. To this end, We overrule Imperial Decree XVII and allow this un-annexed land to exist as a Colony. General Sir Will McCracken shall be considered the colonial governor of Borealia, continuing to the hold the title General of Borealia. The General of Borealia shall be elected by the population of Borealia upon the death or resignation of the incumbent General. Borealia is permitted to organise its own government, though foreign affairs and defence shall still be handled by Our Majesty's National Government in accordance with Imperial Decree XXV.
This, the twenty-ninth Imperial Decree of Our Imperial Majesty Emperor Adam the First, is decreed at Primoria on the thirtieth day of October, two-thousand and fourteenth year of the Common Era and the second year of Our reign, and is signed into immediate effect.
