Decree XLVII
April FoolsUPON OUR IMPERIAL MAJESTY'S SOVEREIGN COMMAND,
NOTING that the Empire has a tradition of marking April Fools' Day, particularly with articles in the Adammic Express,
BE IT DECREED as follows:
The first day of April of every year shall henceforth be celebrated as a public holiday known as April Fools' Day.
This, the forty-seventh Imperial Decree of Our Imperial Majesty Adam the First, Emperor of Adammia, Count of Penmine and Spildcastle, Lord Chancellor of State, Grand Admiral etcetera, is decreed at Imperial City in the Province of Tytannia on this the first day of April, two-thousand and seventeenth year of the Common Era and the fifth year of Our reign, and is signed into immediate effect.
