Decree LXXVIII Adam I
UPON OUR IMPERIAL MAJESTY'S SOVEREIGN COMMAND,
NOTING that various matters of state need to be addressed;
BE IT DECREED as follows:
The Colony of Sheaffia is relocated in its entirety to the new residence of Her Grace Lady Sophie Thornton, which is claimed as territory of the Empire of Adammia. The territory formerly constituting the colony is ceded to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
As an exception to Our seventy-sixth Imperial Decree, the Ruling Council shall be permitted to hold its next State Opening session via an online venue.
There shall be a new rank of the Order of the Meerkat, which shall be the highest-ranking of the Order, which shall confer the title of Knight Grand Cross (KGCM) and the style of Sir for males; the title of Dame Grand Cross (DGCM) and the style of Madam for females; and the title of Most Honourable Grand Cross (HGCM) and the style of Most Honourable for non-binary people.
The Crown may, at its pleasure, issue an Imperial Medal of Gallantry, for members of the Military of Adammia who act with distinction in combat with the enemy, and an Imperial Medal of Distinction, for members of the Military who act with distinction in a non-combat capacity in the course of their service; the Minister of Defence may be consulted on the awarding of such medals.
This, the seventy-eighth Imperial Decree of Our Imperial Majesty Adam the First, Emperor of Adammia, Duke of Deira, Earl of Carew, Lord Chancellor, Grand Admiral et cetera, is decreed at Asquith House in the City of Turing in the Colony of Lagentia, on this the fourteenth day of January of the two-thousand and twenty-second year of the Common Era and the ninth year of Our reign, and is signed into immediate effect.
