Charter of the Micronational Economic Community

Preamble

We the Member States of the Micronational Economic Community hereby gather for the purpose and intention of creating a peaceful economic union between the member states to further micronationism and micronational trade and economics.


Article I

General Assembly

  • The General Assembly shall be the main deliberative body of the Micronational Economic Community.
  • The General Assembly of the Micronational Economic Community shall be made up of delegates from the respective member nations.
  • All matters concerning the Micronational Economic Community must be voted upon by the General Assembly.
  • For any matter that is not the removal of an Executive, to pass the General Assembly, it must gain at least a simple majority of the votes.

The Executive

  • The Executive shall guide and lead the Micronational Economic Community.
  • The General Assembly must elect the Executive of the Micronational Economic Community that consist of a Commissioner and a Deputy Commissioner every four months.
  • The General Assembly also shall decide on the Chairmen of the agencies of the Micronational Economic Community with a vote being taken every three months.
  • A Deputy Chairman may be assigned to an agency if requested by the Geberal Assembly or the Executive.
  • A Deputy Chairman of an agency shall be decided by the Executive after every three month period.
  • The Chairmen of the Agencies shall present any policies made by the agencies to the General Assembly.
  • The Chairmen of Agencies shall provide a report of their agencies activity every fortnight to the Executive who in turn shall every month provide an activity statement to the General Assembly.
  • Vacancies of Executive positions shall be filled from a similar election by the General Assembly as in normal elections within a minimal period after creation of said vacancy.
  • The act of removing an Executive from a position shall be completed with a three-fifths majority vote in agreement of the General Assembly.

Article II

The Currency Designing Agency

  • The Currency Designing Agency shall be the agency responsible for the design of any currency planed for issuing by the Micronational Economic Community or a member nation.
  • Designs created by the Currency Designing Agency must be approved by the General Assembly before printing or minting.
  • Design requirements and regulations are delegated for the Currency Designing Agency to create for approval by the General Assembly.
  • Security devices for currency are required and at least to a reasonable extent as decided by the General Assembly and recommended by the Currency Designing Agency.

The Accounting and Records Agency

  • The Accounting and Records Agency is the agency responsible for the record keeping of all monetary data and other documents of the Micronational Economic Community.
  • The tracking and monitoring of the treasury balance of the Micronational Economic Community is to be delegated to the Accounting and Records Agency.
  • Any transactions taken place involving the treasury of the Micronational Economic Community are to be recorded by the Accounting and Records Agency
  • Any creation or destruction of the currency of the Micronational Economic Community is to be recorded by the Accounting and Records Agency.
  • Any resolutions, motions or votes taken place or created by the General Assembly are to be recorded by the Accounting and Records Agency.
  • The moderation of the votings taken place by the General Assembly is to be delegated to the Accounting and Records Agency.
  • This agency shall submit it’s self to auditing if requested by the Executive or the General Assembly.
  • A mandatory release of fiscal data of the Micronationap Economic Community to the General Assembly is to be in order once a month.
  • Records of all documents and data are to be kept stored in an easily accessible location and public to all members of the Micronational Economic Community.

The Bank and Trade Coordination and Regulation Agency

  • The Bank and Trade Coordination and Regulation Agency is responsible for the coordination of intermicronational banking policies.
  • The Bank and Trade Coordination and Regulation Agency is responsible for the coordination within the member nations.
  • The Bank and Trade Coordination and Regulation Agency shall help establish and maintain links between the micronational banking corporations and micronational central banks.
  • The Bank and Trade Coordination and Regulation Agency shall also establish intermicronational-banking regulations between member nations.
  • The Bank and Trade Coordination and Regulation Agency shall strive to also achieve intermicronational trading policies that benefit all members of the Micronational Economic Community.

The Printing and Minting Agency

  • The Printing and Minting Agency shall be the agency that has the responsibility for the production of all Micronational Economic Community documents and Currency.
  • The Printing and Minting Agency shall help member nations with currency and monetary printing needs.
  • The Printing and Minting Agency shall regulate the production and destruction of all currency of the Micronational Economic Community.
  • The creation of standards for the currency of the Micronational Economic Community shall be delegated to the Printing and Minting Agency for approval by the General Assembly.
  • The standardization for the unit of value for the currency issued by the Micronational Economic Community shall be determined by the Printing and Minting Agency for approval by the General Assembly.
  • The Printing and Minting Agency shall ensure the standardization of weights, measures and values of all issued currency.
  • The Printing and Minting Agency shall create a system for security identification letters and numbers on issued currency to be approved by the General Assembly.
  • The system for security identification numbers and letters shall only be used by the Printing and Minting Agency.
  • Security identification for currency to be issued shall be given prior to printing or minting of currency to the respective issuer.
  • Each security identification shall apply to only one item of currency.

Article III

Jurisdiction

  • The Charter of the Micronational Economic Community and its successor amendments shall govern all activities of the Micronational Economic Community and its members while acting under a section of the Charter of the Micronational Economic Community.

Amendments

  • The act of amending the Charter of the Micronational Economic Community shall be completed with a three-fifths majority vote in agreement of the General Assembly.

Signatures

  • All members or applicants for membership are required to give their signature for signing the Charter of the Micronational Economic Community.
  • All signatures of the Charter of the Micronational Economic Community thereby agree to its articles, sections and parts, agree to follow what is written beforehand, and agree to assist, or attempt to assist, in the promotion of the community and to not encourage nor knowingly assist in its demotion.
