Act 64
In accordance with the Supreme Directive of the Empire of Adammia, on the authority of His Imperial Majesty the Emperor, the Ruling Council and the House of Citizens, in Parliament assembled, this following Act of Parliament is hereby enacted, with the purpose of financing the activities of the Imperial Government for the 2020-21 fiscal year.
Section 1
- a) The Sovereign Grant payable by His Imperial Majesty the Emperor shall be set at a maximum of £175.
- b) The ministry of finance shall oversee the introduction of the annual voluntary progressive income contribution scheme with a predicted income of £50.
Section 2
- a) Introduction of Annual Voluntary progressive tax scheme
- b) All citizens are automatically assumed to opt out of paying taxes. Taxes are strictly voluntary.
- c) Citizens who are NOT retired citizens or full-time students will be invited to decide if they wish to pay taxes for the current financial year.
- d) Taxes would be based on micronational incomes and calculated according to progressive tax bands.
- e) The bands are based on annual gross salary and are as follows:
- a. £0 - £10,000 -> 0% tax
- b. £10,000 - £20,000 -> 0.05% tax
- c. £20,000 - £30,000 -> 0.1% tax
- d. £30,000 - £40,000 -> 0.15% tax
- e. £40,000+ -> 0.2% tax.
- f) Citizens may pay an alternate amount of their own choosing if they so wish.
Section 3
- a) The Ministry of Citizenship and Information is authorised to spend up to £38 to cover the costs of web hosting empireofadammia.org.uk.
- b) The Ministry of National Development is authorised to spend a general budget of up to £35 on Adammic merchandise made free for the public
- c) The Ministry of National Development is authorised to spend a general budget of up to £10 for prize money for Adammic cultural campaigns/competitions/games.
- d) The Ministry of National Development is authorised to spend a general budget of up to £65 on flags for every province.
- e) The Ministry of Finance is authorised to donate up to £10 to charity.
- f) The Minister of Finance is authorised to spend £100 towards buying shares in the Adammic Investment Ltd.
