Borealia Reform Act 2015

Section 1

  • a) The current government of Borealia shall be reformed into the Borealian Cabinet, and shall have three seats. The seats shall belong to the Legate of Borealia, who is the leader of the Borealian Cabinet and representative of the Colony to the Emperor, and to two deputies, the Minister of Defence and the Minister of Industry.
  • b) The Minister of Defence shall be in charge of planning any fortifications or military operations against any of the Empire’s enemies in the Mid Devon sector, and the maintenance of the Second Infantry Division stationed in Borealia as an extension of the Adammic Ministry of Defence.
  • c) The Minister of Industry shall be in charge of all economic actions within Borealia and will be responsible for their planning and the carrying out of those economic actions. This Minister shall also be responsible for collecting GDP data for Borealia and shall be in charge of the Treasury of Borealia, which will be funded by voluntary contribution.
  • d) The Colony of Borealia shall have elections every year to the Cabinet, beginning on January the first 2016, and will be held indefinitely every year from that date, by conducting a poll for each individual member of the Cabinet. All residents of Borealia are eligible for voting in the election. Each seat will be contested separately in three consecutive elections. In the event of tie breaks or less than 50% turnout in the elections, the seat will remain with the incumbent until the next election.
  • e) The Colony of Borealia’s regions of Borealia Major and Borealia Minor shall be abolished, reunifying the Colony’s territory.
  • f) The Cabinet will form the new Government of Borealia, and the agreement of the majority of Cabinet Members will be needed for any action to take place within Borealia.
  • g) The Legate of Borealia affirms that the Colony is the sole successor to the Mohawks, NED, DEONQED, and any state previously made or identifying as Mohawk.
