To all citizens of the Empire and observers abroad, the Adammic Imperial Majesty would like to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Some years have passed and yet the affairs of our macronational neighbours remain uneasy. Therefore, as I have said before and I shall say again, it remains our duty as a nation to rise above the poor conduct of the nations which came before us. The toxic atmosphere that has engulfed macronational politics, as seen most clearly to us with the recent United Kingdom general election, which saw fake news proliferated on a scale unheard of in living memory, at one point threatened to encroach upon our own good Empire.

However, as a result of the establishment of a common understanding between Our Imperial Majesty at the political leaders of our most loyal opposition, Adammia has avoided this fate. I must once again extend my gratitude to the politicians of all parties who acknowledged that the tone of Adammic politics had gone too far when I made my personal statement several weeks ago. Now I am optimistic that a new, more co-operative way of doing things will rise in that place. Together, we can set an example of how a modern nation should be run. At this time of year, we are once again reminded of the Christmas message of peace and goodwill. This is something that I want to be adopted all year round in Adammia, and it is something that I am confident we will achieve.

As easy though it may be to distill politics to a simple matter of left versus right, there is underlying this a much deeper notion of good versus evil; truth versus false; altruism versus self-interest. In the outside world we have seen a gross deterioration in standards, where what would have caused a politician to resign in disgrace ten years ago is now merely brushed off and forgotten. I sincerely hope that we never see this in Adammia. It is my sincere hope that Adammia will, with confidence, continue to advocate for its ancient values of tolerance and acceptance to all, regardless of faith, gender, sexuality, race, class or age. These are values I have espoused in Christmas speeches of years gone by, and they are more important to us now than ever, as once again those with a more hateful agenda rise to prominence on the micronational stage.

Adammia will always welcome the oppressed and the downtrodden. We embrace the message of Christmas whether we are Christian or secular. On that note, dear citizens, I would like to once again wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Seek wisdom and honour, and long live the Empire.
