2nd 2023 DECREE OF HIS ELITE EXCELLENCE KURI KABANOV

‘CONCERNING THE LINE OF SUCCESSION’:

Recognising that Agnatic-Cognatic Primogeniture is the eternal inheritance law of Our monarchical position, as decreed in the 1st term of Our 1st 2015 decree, and noting that there remains some ambiguity regarding the succession law of this position, We hereby enact the following terms in Our capacity as the legitimate Knyaz of Gishabrun:

I. Granting Titles to Members of the Royal Family
1. The grant of the title ‘Knyaginya’ to Our wife, henceforth to be known as Her Excellence, Knyaginya N, and the subsequent automatic grant of this title to every future wife of Our successors.
2. The grant of the title ‘Knyazhich’ to Our sons Q and T, henceforth to be known as His Excellence, Knyazhich Q and His Excellence, Knyazhich T, and the subsequent automatic grant of this title to every one of Our future male descendants.
3. The automatic grant of the title ‘Knyazhna’ to every one of Our future female descendants.
4. The recognition of Their Excellence, the Knyaginyas, Knyazhiches, and Knyazhnas as members of the Gishabruni Royal Court.

II. Limiting the Scope of the Line of Succession
5. The limitation of the natural line of succession to Our monarchical position, henceforth to be known as the Dynastic Succession, to those individuals biologically descended from Us.
6. The obligation of the Gishabruni Royal Court to act as Regent and together wield Our powers if and only if We are one of the following:
a) Below the age of 18 years from Our date of birth.
b) Mentally or physically disabled to the point of being unable to fulfill Our duties.
c) Non-existent or unavailable; Our seat being vacant.
7. The duty of the Gishabruni Royal Court to appoint a Knyaz from among its members within no more than one week after the vacation of Our position without any known heirs.
8. The right and obligation of the Gishabruni Royal Court to remove Us from power and install another Knyaz if and only if He can conclusively prove Himself to be the legal heir of an earlier dynasty. The Knyaz whose position was revoked will be given the hereditary title “Keeper of the Throne” and will remain a member of the Gishabruni Royal Court.
