The State of Zenrax
The Signing of this treaty does hereby begin formal diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Gradonia and The State of Zenrax (from here on called “The Signatories”) on this date, the 8th Day of September of the Gregorian Calendar. The treaty is hereby established by the following clauses.
- I. General Support and Friendship
- The signatories do hereby pledge continuing support and friendship between their nations for the duration of this treaty. This support may be anything outside of the defined clauses within this treaty, as the signatories require.
- II. Mutual Aid
- The Signatories do hereby agree to provide aid to the other in their times of need. The Signatories hold the right to reject such request. The degree to which aid is to be provided, or reasons for rejection of requests, are to be decided by the legislature of the Signatories.
- III. Information and Technology Sharing
- The signatories do hereby agree to a basic technology sharing process. This includes sources for technological development, but does not include Proprietary or State Secrets. Said developments must be provided consent or conditions made by the institution(s) or person(s) that discovered it.
- i. Any developments, public or private, that are sponsored by either signatories and are occurring in the other respective party, are subject to regulations or liberties of the host state.
- IV. Freedom of Movement
- Each Signatory recognises that its Citizens, when in the other’s territory, shall be subject to its laws and system of justice, and commits to a stance of non-interference where a citizen is subject to penalty for unlawful acts undertaken within the other’s territory.
- i. Freedom of Movement shall also extend to that of capital, goods and services in and between the signatory states. Both Signatories pledge a commitment to free trade.
- V. Economic Cooperation
- The Signatories pledge to bring cooperation between their respective national Banks, Financial Organisations and Institutions and allows for the exchange of national currency(s) between their respective national Banks.
- VI. Exchange of Ambassadors
- The signatories shall exchange Ambassadors with each other, whom have correct credentials as per mutually agreed by the signatories foreign offices.
- VII. Diplomatic Immunity
- The Signatories do hereby extend diplomatic immunity to the other’s Head of State, Head of Government, Government Officials, and any other accredited officials, full immunity from prosecution for offenses that may be committed within its jurisdiction. The immunity for diplomatic officials other than the Sovereign may be waived on an individual case-by-case basis at the agreement of both Signatories for certain crimes.
- VIII. Validity of Treaty
- This treaty is considered valid once signed and made public by both parties, and signed by both Signatories. It will become invalid if either nation wishes to terminate it, or if either nation ceases to exist.
