Seventh Decree of William I, King of Gradonia

His Serene Highness and Royal Majesty, William I hereby decrees the creation of the Order of the Gilded Rose which shall be above the Order of William I and below the Order of Charlington on this day, the ninth of May, in the year of our lord, 2020. It is a chivalric honor awarded to those by the monarch of Gradonia for achievements in the Arts and Humanities, specifically the fields of architecture, film making, painting, sculpting, literature, dance, music, theatre, philosophy, history, archaeology, anthropology, human geography, law, politics, and religion.

There are three ranks of this order: Knight Master, Knight Bachelor, Member. The former two ranks may be legally referred to as Knights, but all three may have the style of Sir. The post nominals are as follows: Member - MGR, Knight Bachelor - BGR, Knight Master - MGR.
