Open Letter: GUM-OAM Relations.

Hello all,

As I'm sure that you're all aware, the OAM's relations with the GUM have not been trouble free. I for one was, initially, very distrusting of the GUM and its leadership, and, I am ashamed to say, was on one occasion very rude about Robert Lethler. Despite my reservations, I did some more research into the GUM, Erusia, and Robert Lethler, and I have since dispelled many of my earlier suspicions. Egtavia has also applied for GUM membership, and our application has been retained. If all goes well, then Egtavia will be a full member of the GUM by the 10th of January 2010.

I was recently asked by Robert Lethler to convey a message of goodwill to the members of the OAM, and I accepted to do so. I will post the message as soon as I recieve a reply from Robert Lethler.

I would like to urge all OAM member-states to make amends to the GUM, Erusia, and Robert Lethler, or if you feel unable to do so, at least refrain from posting offensive messages regarding the aforementioned parties. I would like to see the GUM-OAM cold war wound up as soon as possible, and I will not tolerate any nation that attempts to sabotage the peace process. I don't mind if you object to the actions of the GUM, Robert Lethler, and Erusia, but please don't cause any unnecessary strain in relations.

Best Regards,

President Pierre d'Égtavie
