First Decree of William I, King of Gradonia

HM William I hereby decrees the creation of the Konlichstag on this day, the fifth of August, the year of our Lord, 2019

BE IT KNOWN THAT - the Konlichstag, informally the King’s Parliament, shall be made up of seven members, six dukes of the provinces of Gradonia and one being the sovereign. The purpose of the Konlichstag shall be to make legislation independent of, but still including the king. The Konlichstag, as aforementioned, will be made of six dukes of the Gradonian provinces being, Cedarburg, Cookan, Edderton, Haynio, New Hesse, and Willvian. Of these dukes, one shall be elected Consul to serve with the sovereign during session. The Consul will then be referred to as, the Right Honourable Consul. If a duke is unable to partake in the session, then his declared heir(ess) will take upon themselves the responsibility to represent their province and duke in the Konlichstag.
