AMU condemn UUS declaration of war

Greetings,

This is an official statement made by the Secretary-general of the AMU, Grand Duke Niels of Flandrensis.

The UUS is the formal Phoenix Empire, who claimed a big part of Antarctic territory. They have asked the membership of the AMU, but because their involvement in the Austenasian Civil War and their military behavior the AMU decline their membership. The Antarctic micronations decided to give this micronation three months to prove themselves in the micronational community and reconsider their membership in the AMU.

As result of the “declaration of war” by the USS the members of the AMU have taken an official decision. The Secretary-General and all Antarctic micronations of the AMU condemn this “declaration of war” as childish, ridiculous and a shame for the true micronational values. The AMU decided that all the members will ignore this cry for attention and hope that many others will do the same.

The purpose of the AMU is to protect the stability on Antarctica, the white continent is not a battlefield for children who wants to play war! Therefore the members of the AMU unanimous vote that the AMU will never recognized any Antarctic claim of this “micronation”.

I want to conclude this letter with a statement of John F. Kennedy: "Mankind must put an end to war, or war will put an end to mankind." Let us learn from the history, micronations are our world so don’t made the same mistakes and say no to micronational wars.
